Mechanical Engineering - "Building A Zipline"
Engineering
Electrical Engineering: What does an electrical engineer do?
Electrical engineers are inventors, designers and builders who understand how to manipulate currents and voltages in ways that advance technology.

Mechanical Engineering: What does a mechanical engineer do?
Mechanical engineers design power-producing machines like generators and engines. They design other machines such as elevators and escalators. They can specialize in sub-disciplines such as acoustics, medical devices and building services.

Chemical Engineering: What does a chemical engineer do?
Chemical engineers develop and design chemical manufacturing processes. They apply the principles of chemistry, biology, physics, and math to solve problems that involve the production or use of chemicals, fuel, drugs, food, and many other products.

Class Description & Registration Info
In these classes you will become familiar with basic concepts of an electric current, voltage, conduction and resistance. You will build circuits to do simple tasks like light up a light bulb. You will also build power-producing machines that will launch marshmallows across the room as well as dabble with some chemical reactions that will cause slime to explode. Engineering Classes are open to boys and girls, ages: 3 to 6 and 7 to 10. Students will build and program several different robots using Artificial Intelligence, Visual Coding and Machine Learning in the robotics class. Classes are in-person and/or online.

Computer Engineering: What does a computer engineer do?
Computer engineers design, test, implement and maintain computer software and hardware systems. They ensure that both the physical hardware components and software programming components work together. Some computer engineers specialize in fields like robotics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, mobile apps and operating systems.
